SEO Training for In-House PRs and PR Agencies

SEO training course for PR

Make yourself known with SEO training for PRs and marketers

Does your PR agency or in-house PR team need training on search engine optimisation (SEO)? The SEO industry is valued at £500 million per year in the UK and – as Google and Bing’s continuing emphasis moves towards quality, relevance and “social signals” – search rankings are increasingly influenced by PR activity.

In a nutshell, PRs should own SEO and can prove their value to clients and in-house marketing heads alike. Planet Content offers expert-led, great value, three-hour SEO for PR introductory courses and we conduct them at your office. Contact us for more information.

SEO training for PRs essential to capitalise on evolving market

According to a recent PR and SEO survey we ran, 71 per cent of UK PR practitioners expect fee incomes from SEO services to rise in the next year, yet only 42 per cent could accurately identify inbound links as the most important signal in Google’s search algorithm. PR professionals need to fully understand the strategic and practical elements of SEO to fit it into their own or their client’s online marketing campaigns.

We understand that PR teams are pushed for time, so the Planet Content SEO Training for PR course is just three hours long and our SEO PR trainer comes to your office.

The SEO Training for PR course includes:

- SEO overview: the basics

- What determines search engine results?

- Basic considerations

- Looking at HTML

- Mapping SEO within PR and social media (link and social signal building)

- Tools for the job (free and paid for)

- Keyword identification

- Monitoring and measurement

- Case study: Searchmetrics

- Upselling to clients/reporting
