About the social media trainer
Social media trainer Chris Lee brings 14 years tech PR and journalism experience to his courses and has provided social media training services to more than 30 PR agencies in the UK, as well as well-known brands like VisitScotland and a leading NGO.
Unlike many social media trainers, Chris has led global blue chip campaigns, such as launching Philips’ male grooming engagement platform worldwide, and running Ubisoft’s UK blogger relations programme while Vice President of Digital at Ketchum sister agency, Emanate (London). His team at Rainier PR (now Speed Comms) won Best Business Blog from Communicators in Business way back in 2007, chiefly for its role in bringing in new business through engagement and high search engine ranking. He has also run PR programmes for Xerox, Virgin Media Business, Deutsche Telekom and a host of smaller brands.
Chris has been writing on social media for the University of Westminster’s New Media Knowledge website since 2008 and also ran a link building workshop at leading search marketing conference, BrightonSEO in April 2012.
